Hypno Gastric Band Therapy consists of four sessions. The first three sessions are generally one session per week and the fourth session is after a break of a month. You will be given a recording to listen to between your sessions and a further recording on session three to reinforce the therapy. These recordings are a vital part of this therapy and should be listened to daily to ensure you get the best outcome for you.

We all over eat at times especially during holidays or celebrations, for the majority of people this will balance out during times where there are no special occasions and their weight will remain stable. However, there are many of us who have either lost or ignored our bodies 'full-signals' and this leads to eating more than our bodies need and is then stored as fat. 

What the Hypno Gastric Band Therapy does is it makes you feel fuller quicker, leading you to consume less at each meal. You will begin to recognise your bodies 'full' signals and make postive changes to your health and wellbeing.

The benefit to the Hypno Gastric Band Therapy is you don't risk the side effects or complications of actual gastric band surgery (or the cost!)

At the first session we will discuss your eating habits and where you feel the issues are. We will also explore the things you want to change, what you want to achieve and we will discover positive alternative behaviours and choices. This will include a hypnotherapy session which is also given as a recording to take away.

Session two is when you meet your anaesthetist and surgeon under hypnosis preparing you for the fitting of the hypno gastric band in session three.

The third session is where you will have the hypno gastric band fitted under hypnosis, because our minds do not differentiate between what is real or imagined you will feel the band being fitted and you will feel fuller quicker. 

At the end of this session you will be given the second recording which reinforces the hypnotic surgery. 

After a period of a month you will return for the fourth session, this is where the band will be adjusted to ensure continued effectiveness for you.

As with all hypnotherapy there are no 'magic wands' and you need to work with me to ensure you get the best out of your sessions. 

This includes committing to listening to the recordings daily and establishing new positive healthy habits which enhance your sense of self-worth and well being.
